The Sedbergh Café opened in August 2007 under the same management as the multi award winning New Village Tearooms 16 miles away in Orton, offering a varied menu with the emphasis on home baking and cooking. You will find the only finished food products not made on the premises are the bread, which is sourced from local bakers and the award winning English Lakes ice cream.
Our Teas are blended by Taylors of Harrogate and served with extra hot water and milk or lemon. All of our coffees are Fairtrade, imported and roasted by Taylors of Harrogate. All our teas and coffees are available to buy in our shop, which also offers a range of gifts and tea related accessories.
The Sedbergh Café offers customers a free internet access point along with free wireless internet access throughout.
Sedbergh is situated on the Pennine Cycleway (route 68 national cycle network) and has direct access to the Howgills.
Our Tearoom has disabled access and a disabled toilet and we are happy to accommodate groups requiring these facilities.
